What is a Certified Somatica® Coach?

Most mental health professionals, counselors, and therapists don’t specialize in sex – and are therefore poorly equipped to help you learn, grow, and expand you sexual life and relationships.

A Certified Somatica Coach on the other hand has invested the considerable time and resources to get trained by the Somatica Institute to help you with just that. Armed with a strong coaching philosophy and practical and experiential tools, certified coaches are trustworthy, knowledgeable, aware, and capable at their craft.

Are all Sex Coach Certifications the Same?

No. Given that no central governing body issues sex coach certifications, coaching schools are able to design and validate their own certification processes.

However, a few choice institutions, such as the Somatica Institute, offer additional certifications from industry-recognized certifying bodies. For example, graduates of the Somatica Sex & Relationship Coach Certification Training who successfully complete all 300 hours of the program are also recognized by the American Board of Sexology (ABS) as certified sexologists.

Additionally, the Somatica Institute is a member of an elite group of CAMFT Approved CE Providers. This allows them to provide licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) and licensed professional clinical counselors (LPCC) continuing education units (CE’s), making them a trusted training provider for mental health professionals.
