Amanda

Amanda has been a sex and intimacy coach since she began her studies with the Somatica Institute in 2018. She currently sees clients in person in Santa Cruz and the East Bay of California, as well as virtually.

As a social worker for 20 years, she has been working in fields including domestic violence and sexual assault education/support, addiction and recovery, family and children’s services, and hospice. She currently has a thriving psychedelic medicine practice, in addition to her coaching practice.

Amanda is a Mom; a Sister and Daughter and Auntie; a Cousin and a Niece and a Friend; an Activist and a Feminist; a Dancer; an Artist; an Empath; a Speaker and a Listener; a Reader; a Lover of Music and Singing; a Believer in the Power of our Open Hearts; a Lifelong Learner. She is currently enrolled in the Sexological Bodyworker training with the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education.

In her practice and life, Amanda is excited to dive in and explore what turns people on! She would love to help you become empowered in your desire, build comfort and confidence in learning about your pleasure, aliveness, playfulness, communication styles, eroticism, triggers, and boundaries.

Aiming to demystify, deshamify, and abolish judgement around sex and intimacy topics, Amanda works to do so in a way that everyone feels as safe, held and excited as possible.
