Bethany

Bethany is a Somatica intimacy and relationship coach in the San Francisco Bay area. With empathy and vulnerability, she brings a creative approach to her coaching that allows her clients to explore their sexuality, uncover the blockers to developing deep intimate relationships, and discover their core desires.

It was Bethany’s Somatica journey that led to her deep self-acceptance, embracing her boundaries, and overcoming the shame she experienced as a transgender woman – and led her to becoming a sex, relationship, and intimacy coach. Bethany is now passionate about helping her clients conquer their issues too. She helps them dismantle the limiting beliefs and fears that prevent them from embracing their sexual selves, unique gender identities, tapping into pleasure, or having the relationships they desire.

Specializing in individuals and couples – including those embracing open or polyamorous relationships or seeking fulfillment from same-sex, queer, or kinky partnerships – Bethany engages them in building greater intimacy. She teaches them to feel confident about setting boundaries, and lovingly asking for what they want and need. She helps them recognize how past traumas may have impacted their relationships, teaches strategies to move beyond them, and helps them connect in a secure, loving, and sensual way.

Bethany particularly loves working with women over 40, couples adjusting to significant changes such as a partner’s gender transition, and anyone who wants to explore new ways of sharing erotic energy, e.g. Kink Play, Tantra, Polyamory. 

Bethany is there for you with courage and compassion to help you deepen and flourish through life-affirming love. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Organization Effectiveness, professional certifications in Diversity & Inclusion consulting, life and performance coaching and interpersonal communication. She applies this extensive knowledge, plus the wisdom of her own life experience, to help her clients neutralize their negative, sabotaging thoughts and patterns so they shamelessly and authentically love and live.
