Dorothy Hayden, LCSW, MBA, CAC, is a psychoanalyst, couples counselor, sex therapist, Adult ADD specialist and hypnotherapist.
She has been interviewed by HBO, ABC’s “20/20”, CNN, WBAI radio (regular contributor), The Boston Globe, Cosmopolitan and Playgirl as an expert in the area of sexuality.
In addition, she has been a regular contributing writer for Prometheus Magazine and A Lesbian’s Life, covering issues of alternative sexuality including consensual BDSM, polyamory and same-sex couples counseling and sex therapy.
Ms. Hayden received her M.S.W. from New York University and obtained postgraduate training at the PostGraduateCenter for Mental Health and the Object Relations Institute. She also attended the Albert Ellis Institute for Cognitive/Behavioral therapy and is certified as a hypnotherapist from the Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. She is currently attending the couples training program at the Training Institute for Mental Health in Manhattan.
