Your
Penis and You - Part I
Lingam Naming & Honoring Ceremony

The exercise below is a prelude – a fun prelude. Ok, so that phrase
sounds remarkably like ‘foreplay’ – appropriate enough. I love to
tease so my lips are sealed regarding the upcoming ‘main event.’
What kind of relationship do you have with your penis? Are you angry
with it? Ashamed? Do you treat it tenderly and wash it lovingly? Or
do you ignore it whenever possible?
What terms do you use for your penis? Is it a prick, tool, or dick?
These terms are harsh and derisive and may not be compatible with
the strong, healthy, pleasurable energy that you desire to manifest.
If you are like most men, you’ve examined your penis a million
times, scrutinizing and criticizing its length and girth. Now try
looking at it with new eyes, loving eyes, marveling at its
magnificence, its function, its beauty. Notice the skin colors. Is
it pink in some areas and darker in other areas? Do you see any
spots or blue veins? What about your coronal ridge? Is it prominent
or not? How about the color and texture of your foreskin? Is your
penis nestled in a soft bed of hair? What color?
Now notice your scrotum. This marvelous heating/cooling system is
evidenced by that uniquely textured skin which expands and contracts
to maintain the perfect temperature for your sperm. Is one testicle
larger than the other? (Left handed guys often have a larger right
testicle.) Be a proud owner of that work of art and engineering
miracle.
Name Your Penis
Don’t be in a rush – Your ‘right’ name will surface in its own time.
As you consider the possibilities, be conscious of the power of
words. Sparky or Pink Panther are preferable to Slug or Bozo. Some
men prefer to use a name from their culture, or their animal totem,
or spirit guide.
Or, it may come in your dreams.
