Critic's Review - The Sex Bible - by Susan
Crain Bakos
A book that came out a while ago still sits with me as
one of the most “beautiful” yet informational, inspiring
and awesome books ever to be published on the subject of
sex: The Sex Bible from Quiver Press.
Yes, with the barrage of a steady
diet of new books on the how-to’s of doing the monkey,
you’d think that they would have said it all by now,
right? But Susan Crain Bakos, who thanks me in her book
profusely for my input and support (thanks to you, too,
Susan, for your prolific contribution to sexuality in
print!), is an uncanny deliverer of the good news about
how to keep it going, how to get it hot and
how to languish in the good stuff every day until you,
well, croak. She has studied what she dubs the “orgasm
loop” and you’ll have to read the book to find out why
this may be an answer to lasting orgiastic sexual
pleasure. (I know, I’m a tease.) What I love about this
imprint (Quiver Books) is their bold, daring and
well-spent dollars on the full-color photos (omg) and
pretty glossy papers (ahhh), along with the smart words
of advice and disclosure by actual couples about how sex
can last and still be something to write home about.
Oops, I mean, write poetry about to your sweetheart,
even if you just have to walk across a room to refill
that morning cup of java. This is one worth keeping on
the shelf, the nearest bed stand, or coffee table and,
oh yeah, actually reading!
